Barlet A. Lucaj, Esq. is an associate in the Personal Injury Department of Georgaklis & Mallas. Mr. Lucaj received his Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School in 2020 and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2021.
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Mr. Lucaj moved to New York to study Law. Upon graduation he was hired as Special Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Brooklyn Borough Unit of the Administration for Children’s Services to defend the Children of New York City in abuse and neglect cases. As an attorney for the Administration for Children’s Services, Mr. Lucaj represented the City of New York when filing petitions against those responsible for the abuse and/or neglect of Children in Brooklyn, New York.
Mr. Lucaj now brings his experience gained in Brooklyn Family Court to represent plaintiffs with Georgaklis & Mallas.
