Tylenol Risk of Neurological Conditions
According to recent studies, taking Tylenol or Acetaminophen while pregnant can increase the risk of neurological conditions that affect the development of the baby's brain. These conditions include Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children.
Tylenol or Acetaminophen is a widely-used medication for relieving pain and reducing fever, and is commonly found in various cold and headache medications such as NyQuil, Robitussin, Sudafed, Theraflu, and Excedrin, as well as prescription analgesics.
If your child has been diagnosed with ASD and/or ADHD and the mother took Tylenol or Acetaminophen during pregnancy, you may be eligible for compensation. It is recommended to seek the assistance of an experienced personal injury attorney who will fight for your rights. The personal injury attorneys at Georgaklis & Mallas, PLLC are available to vigorously represent you and fight for the compensation that you and your family deserve.
